Parc régional de la Forêt Ouareau – Secteur des Contreforts
Paddleboarding and canoeing offer another way to explore the park during the beautiful season. Enjoy the calm waters of our lakes and some marked sections of the Ouareau River to appreciate the grandeur of the surrounding nature. A completely new perspective. If you don't have the equipment and are curious to try the experience, we offer a full rental service (board, paddle, canoe, and life jacket) at the reception desk.
Descente de la Rouge
A canoe or kayak descent along the stunning Rouge River promises breathtaking landscapes. The routes unfold on calm waters. Depending on the season, only one route features a class R2 rapid. With transportation provided from the visitor center to the starting point of your adventure, you can descend the Rouge River at your own pace.

The main goal of the Zoom Nature Desjardins Discovery Center is aligned with its fundamental mission, which aims to connect individuals with nature, raise awareness about the rich wildlife, mineral, and plant heritage of our region, and consequently, protect our environment by understanding it better.
Renowned as one of Quebec's wonders and one of North America's largest gardens, the Reford Gardens form a botanical haven on the shores of the Saint Lawrence. With approximately 3,000 species and varieties of plants, including the famous Himalayan blue poppy, spread across fifteen gardens, the grounds offer a unique floral experience. In addition to the gardens, visitors can explore a vegetable garden and a gardening tools museum. Also, discover the edible plants and aromatic herbs that inspire the chef of the Restaurant de la villa Estevan.

At Surf E-Motion, our mission is to introduce and guide a wide range of individuals to discover the basics, refine their eFoil skills, and build confidence throughout their learning journey. Pêche blanche – Lac de la Ferme
Every year, the municipality of Duhamel, the Lac-Simon Tourist Centre, and the Petite-Nation Hunters, Fishers, and Trappers Association contribute to stocking Lac de la Ferme, one of the few places where you can fish for brook trout in winter. Located 2 km south of the village, the lake is accessible via Chemin du Tour du Lac. A log cabin shelter is available for warming up, and access to the site is free. Visitors must bring their own fishing equipment.
